featuring “Take Five”, “Just Desserts”, and “Courting 101”

May 14, 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, and 29.

Synopsis of Each Show:
     Take Five: Imagine you are an actor on opening night trying to preform on a set that isn't completed.  Then one actor doesn't show up, a fruitcake from the audience uses your stage phone to argue with his wife, the props either don't work or are missing, the lighting and sound cues are off, and two incompetent stagehands do their worst. 
Gender and Ages of Cast:
3 Men and 3 Women, ages ranging from early 20's to mid 30's.

     Just Desserts: Where there's a will, there's a relative. This was never truer than in the case of the late Desmond Clairborn. And greed was never better represented than in the relatives of the deceased.  There's a fast-talking nephew, a demented son and his Marilyn Monroe look-alike wife, a astrology obsessed niece and two sisters, one feisty, the other senile.  This farce has more twists than a pretzel, and half the fun is watching who gets what and the other half is watching them get it.
Gender and Ages of Cast:
3 Men ages early 20's (1), 30's (1), 40's (1); 5 Women ages early to mid-20's (1), 30-40's (2), 70-80's (2).  Also, we are opening auditions to high school students ages 16 & 17.  They must be able to pull off the look of college students and/or early to mid-20’s.

     Courting 101: Need a little instruction in the Art of Love?  Try Courting 101--a class designed to unravel the timeless mysteries of romance and dating, from the complicated actions of women to the not-so-complicated reactions of men--all with live-action examples!
Gender and Ages of Cast:
2 Men, 1 Woman, 3 Either. Ages 18-35.

What will be expected at auditions:
All actors will be required to cold read for various parts. Please dress comfortably.

Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals will vary amongst the Acts, but generally 4-5 nights a week from 6:00-9:00pm.
